Dillin is closed due to weather emergency

Dillin’s First-In, First-Out (FIFO) Accumulator utilizes a carousel design and can handle a full range of container and product types and sizes. Fitted with our patented RWave® transfer system, it gently places products on lift rails, eliminating any pushing and allowing for multiple rows of product to be accumulated on every rail if required. The FIFO Accumulator features a compact footprint while maintaining hundreds of feet of accumulation. Its open access and clear visibility enhances operator safety and efficiency.

This FIFO Accumulator can be integrated with Dillin’s: Product Handling Conveyors, Merge/Divert Stations and/or Incline/Decline Conveyors.

Ideal for FIFO-Based Carton Accumulation

This solution is particularly effective for carton accumulation where First-In, First-Out product flow is essential—such as in batch-sensitive or time-critical packaging lines. The carousel layout, combined with Dillin’s gentle RWave® transfer, ensures that cartons are buffered, stored, and retrieved in exact order without damage or disruption. It’s an excellent fit for industries like food and beverage, personal care, and pharmaceuticals, where preserving sequence and product integrity matters.

Features
  • Handles a full range of container and product sizes.

  • First accumulated product is the first out of the accumulator during de-accumulation.

  • Patented RWave Transfer Technology facilitates gentle and precise product placement.

  • Loading and unloading are independent of one another.

BENEFITS
  • Satisfies FIFO requirements of batch processing with the first product in being the first product out.

  • Dramatically improves Line efficiencies when the process end is adversely affected by down time due to downstream equipment stoppage.

  • Provides completely automatic accumulation during downstream machinery downtime allowing process end to continue operating.

  • Provides completely automatic De-accumulation when downstream machinery comes back on line without interrupting production flow.

This method of accumulation is ideal for many different package type, sizes and shapes, such as:
  • Cases

  • Boxes

  • Cartons

  • Totes

  • Trays
